What Billy does
Somebody always ends up carrying the trip: books the house, pays the dinners, fronts the taxis. Billy keeps the running score so that person is not also the group's accountant, and at the end says one number per person. Who pays whom, once, and everyone goes home even.
It works for a weekend away, a shared apartment, a monthly dinner with the same five people. Any group where money moves and nobody wants to talk about it.
How it works
- Make a circle and name the people in it.
- Everyone drops expenses in as they happen. Uneven splits, weights and subgroups are fine; the math is Billy's problem.
- When it's time to settle, Billy nets everything down to the fewest possible payments and hands each one to Pix, Mercado Pago or Venmo with the amount already filled in.
Billy never holds or moves the money itself. It tells you who pays whom; the paying happens in the apps you already trust.
The parts people actually care about
Your friends don't need the app
Each member can get a personal guest link. It opens in any browser, shows their balance and every expense behind it, and lets them say "I paid". No install, no signup, no excuse.
Billy does the asking
The worst part of being owed money is having to bring it up. Billy writes the reminder, one to one, tied to the actual expense ("the Thursday dinner", never a naked balance), and you just tap send.
Works offline, syncs when you sign in
Everything lives on your phone first. An account exists for one reason: putting a circle on more than one phone so other people can add their own expenses.
What it costs
Splitting is free. No expense limit, no locked features, no ads.
Billy earns money when a group books part of their trip through a suggestion in the app: an eSIM, an airport transfer, museum tickets. The booking costs you their normal price and the partner pays Billy a commission, which the app tells you about on the same screen, before you tap. That commission is the business. We would rather earn it than charge you.

Questions people ask
Do I need an account?
No. Circles, expenses and balances all work on the phone with no signup. An account exists only so a circle can live on more than one phone.
Does everyone in the group need the app?
No. Whoever is keeping the ledger has it; the rest can open their personal guest link in a browser, see what they owe and where it came from, and mark themselves paid.
Does Billy touch the money?
Never. It works out who pays whom and hands the payment to Pix, Mercado Pago or Venmo with the amount filled in. The money moves between you and your friends, the way it already does.
Which currencies?
Any. A circle picks its currency and Billy keeps every cent in whole units, so splitting three ways never loses or invents a cent.
Android?
Not yet. iPhone first; the Android version is built from the same code and comes after.
Privacy, short version
